fslint software package provides Utility collection to find and fix common errors in file storage, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fslint
fslint is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fslint package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fslint *
You will get with fslint package name, version, architecture and description in a table
